EAST GUIDELINE PROPOSAL FORM
Thank you for submitting an EAST Guideline Proposal Form. The EAST Guidelines Committee will review all proposals biannually and will score the proposals based on the following:- anticipated impact and importance to clinical practice
- originality
- likelihood for project completion
- proposal quality and clarity
The EAST Guidelines Committee will only approve a limited number of top-scoring proposals to proceed with development. If a proposal does not receive approval, it may be revised and resubmitted at a later time. If you have any questions please contact Rachel Dixon, EAST's Association Manager at rdixon@east.org.
If you need assistance in identifying a Team/Senior Advisor or any Team Members, please contact Rachel Dixon at rdixon@east.org. Rachel will work with the EAST Guidelines Committee Leadership to help identify someone to help provide oversight and/or volunteers to join the team.
When submitting this form this does not have to be the final draft, revisions to this proposed Guideline are able to be made as needed.
- EAST members preferred but not required.
- Exceptions include trainees at any level (medical student, resident, fellow) and non-EAST members with expertise related to the PMG/EBR topic.
- All proposed team members must be contacted prior to proposal submission and should have agreed to participate in the working group.
- Please read the "12 Steps to EAST Practice Management Guideline (PMG) Development, 2nd Edition" and answer the question above prior to submitting the proposal form.
