The Surgical Critical Care Fellowship offers additional training in the care of critically ill patients. The program is under the leadership of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). The hospitals at which the critical care fellows rotate include University Hospital, Brooke Army Medical Center and Wilford Hall Medical Center. All three participating sites are American College of Surgeons Verified and Designated Level I trauma centers. The fellowship is fully accredited by the RRC.
