We are seeking an enthusiastic BC/BE Acute Care Surgeon who has great clinical and interpersonal skills to join our growing team in beautiful Lehigh Valley, PA. This full-time position incudes trauma surgery, acute care surgery and critical care.

Program Overview:
Lehigh Valley Hospital was the first verified and accredited trauma center in Pennsylvania and is among the busiest Level I trauma programs on the east coast. Attending Surgeons in this division have an opportunity for a significant academic experience which includes overseeing an RRC-approved Surgical Critical Care Fellowship (three fellows), daily teaching of General Surgery residents and medical students as well as participating in clinical research. Faculty appointments are available through the University of South Florida, College of Medicine, LVHN’s academic partner.

Job Qualifications:
• A network champion for Trauma and Acute Care Surgery
• Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery with Added Qualification in Surgical Critical Care
• A current PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
• Must be current as an ATLS Instructor
