Trauma/ACS surgeon, ICU Director
Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is currently seeking a full time Trauma/ACS surgeons to join the group at Allegheny General Hospital (Level I center).
Allegheny General Hospital (AGH), offers medical care to Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas as a mature trauma center and quaternary referral center. AGH offers its patients state-of-the art surgical suites, innovative technology, and advanced medical treatments for nearly 4000 trauma patients/year as well as a large ACS population in this 600 bed facility. The Trauma/ACS team is supported by a large General Surgery residency (6 chiefs/year), Surgical Critical Care fellowship, Critical Care APP fellowship, physician assistant/nurse practitioners, and administrative staff.

The qualified candidates should be board certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care and have outstanding clinical skills and a dedication to education and research. Ideally the candidate would have several years’ or greater experience, but new graduates with outstanding backgrounds will be considered. The ability to obtain and maintain a Pennsylvania Medical License and privileges with AHN are required.
