Surgery Trauma Advanced Practice Provider

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner needed to assist our Trauma Surgeons at our growing Level II Trauma Facility in Augusta, Georgia.

Qualified Candidates:
We are recruiting for a full-time advanced practitioner (PA or NP) that is comfortable with all aspects of Trauma. 2 years of PA/NP trauma and critical care experience preferred. Nighttime position includes 3 12 hour shifts weekly with coverage of trauma/emergency general surgery patients, mostly hospital floor inpatient coverage.
This position is a key team member of the trauma team, assisting the trauma surgeons in critical situations and ICU patient management while facilitating patient progression to discharge.

Responsibilities include: round on floor patients, ICU patients (trauma only of course), responding to trauma resuscitations and assist with trauma consultations in the ED; progress notes; H & P; respond to nursing's' phone calls; write orders.

Requirements: NP/PA GA license(unrestricted), ACLS, BLS, ATLS preferred
