Brand New Trauma Center- Level III in pursuit of Level II soon

Extant Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Trauma Surgeon to join our dynamic surgical team at HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive trauma care and perform emergency surgeries, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Trauma Program:
• 163-bed Acute Care hospital
• Level III ACS designation in pursuit (with intent to go Level II)
• Trauma service covers most acute care surgery
• Annual ED Volume 19k
• Approx 400 trauma admits annually
• 24 hour call from home
Qualifications:
• Board Certification in General Surgery and Fellowship training in Trauma Surgery.
• Current, unrestricted medical license in the state.
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making abilities and ability to work under pressure.
