I had the privilege of being a recipient of the 2022 John M. Templeton, Jr., MD Military Call to Service Scholarship. The scholarship provided the funds necessary for my travel, lodging, and registration for the 35th EAST Annual Scientific Assembly in Austin, Texas.

This was not only an amazing opportunity to learn about ongoing research within the field of trauma and acute care surgery, but also to spend time with colleagues and mentors. I would highly recommend anyone with any interest in trauma consider applying.
