As a recipient of the 2025 EAST Annual Scientific Assembly Advancing Science Scholarship, I was honored to have the opportunity to come to the EAST Annual Scientific Assembly and continue to learn from the remarkable leaders in the field. As a surgery resident, EAST has provided immense support in learning about the field of trauma and making connections with those around the country and world. This is all in the setting of experiencing all of the science presently happening to advance trauma care.
I look forward to continuing to attend future scientific assemblies thanks to the foundation that this scholarship helped me to build, and I cannot thank EAST enough for the ongoing support.
