In 2024, as the recipient of the EAST Multicenter Trial Junior Investigator Award, EAST has fully committed to evaluating innovation in our field through the first ever MCT on Robotic Surgery in Acute Care Surgery. This will be the first and largest study of its kind with over 2,000 patients entered to date, and would not have been possible without the generous donation of EAST members and donors.
