The EAST Annual Scientific Assembly Advancing Science Scholarship exemplifies the ongoing commitment of EAST to resident education and career development. As a recipient of the 2025 scholarship, I had the privilege to attend the 38th Annual Scientific Assembly this past January in Tucson. In addition to presenting my research on a national stage, the scholarship gave me the opportunity to meet leaders in the field, network with SCC/ACS fellowship directors, and learn from the innovative research aimed at advancing care of the injured patient.
I cannot thank EAST enough for the ongoing support of my education and surgical career.
