EAST Guideline Proposal
Do you have an idea for a new EAST Guideline? Would you like to help develop and disseminate evidence-based information to increase the scientific knowledge needed to enhance patient and clinical decision-making, improve health care quality, and promote efficiency in the organization of public and private systems of health care delivery?
If so, the EAST Guidelines Committee is accepting EAST Guideline Proposals biannually and will score the proposals based on the following:
- anticipated impact and importance to clinical practice
- originality
- likelihood for project completion
- proposal quality and clarity
The EAST Guidelines Committee will only approve a limited number of top-scoring proposals to proceed with development. If a proposal does not receive approval, it may be revised and resubmitted at a later time. When submitting the proposal form it does not have to be the final draft; revisions to this Guideline Proposal are able to be made as needed or at the suggestion of the committee.
The next submission deadline will be May 2025. You can view our current Guidelines Under Development here and our published Practice Management Guidelines here.
EAST Guideline Proposal Form (now closed)
Notifications regarding the proposals submitted will be distributed in response to the November 1st deadline will be sent by mid-December. If you have any questions please contact Rachel Dixon, EAST's Association Manager at rdixon@east.org.
