Development Committee
In furtherance of its exempt purposes, EAST established the EAST Development Fund (“Fund”), to support initiatives designed to reduce the incidence of trauma and improve the care of the injured patient. The initiatives supported by the Fund are in the areas of research, injury control and violence prevention, education and leadership development. Committee members are appointed by the President with approval by the Board of Directors. Committee member terms are three years. All terms begin in January and conclude in January in the year specified in "term ends".
The Development Committee reports through the EAST Senior Director-at-Large on the Board of Directors.
