Advocacy Ad Hoc Task Force
The Advocacy Ad Hoc Task force was established to vet and evaluate EAST's role in lobbying and advocacy; specifically what is permissible within EAST's 501(c) 3 status and make recommendations to the EAST Board of Directors. The Ad Hoc Task Force will consider:- What issue(s) does EAST want to advocate for or against?
- How does advocating for or against these issues advance EAST’s exempt purpose?
This ad hoc task force was approved by the EAST Board of Directors on January 13, 2024. The initial term of ad hoc task force is May 1, 2024 - April 30, 2026 and can be extended with Board approval.
