38th EAST Annual Scientific Assembly (January 15-17, 2025) CME Credit - Claim by Feb 28, 2025

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by CineMed and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma. CineMed is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

CineMed designates this live for a maximum of 21 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Other Healthcare Professionals
All other healthcare professionals will receive a Certificate of Participation. For information on the applicability and acceptance of Certificates of Participation for activities designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, consult your professional licensing board.

Using the Online System - It's as Easy as 1-2-3

The online portal to claim CME Credit for the 38th EAST Annual Scientific Assembly will open on January 17, 2025.

1. Login in to the EAST Annual Scientific Assembly Online Evaluation System - You must have completed the online evaluation by February 28, 2025 to be eligible to receive CME Credit. 

2. Claim credit per day

3. Retrieving your certificate - very important

  • After you have completed the necessary evaluations and the Overall Evaluation, the Certificate button will be enabled.
  • Click on the Certificate button.
  • Click on Create Certificate - the system will create the appropriate certificate(s) and give you the option to download it to your computer or email it to yourself*. 
  • You must take a certificate for your credits to be posted
American Board of Surgery (ABS) Reporting - Successful completion of this CME activity enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME requirement(s) of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit. Specific demographic information to include DOB (MM/DD), License #, State Issuing License, and ABS ID # are needed to submit your CME information to ABS.  If you wish to have your CME information submitted to ABS, complete the information requested via the Submit My Info for ABS button within the Online Evaluation System. EAST will submit information to ABS through our CME Partner, Cine-Med, AFTER the February 28, 2025 deadline to complete the evaluation and claim credit.

CNE Credit

Society of Trauma Nurses is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.  

To claim CNE you must have completed the online evaluation form to receive the CNE certificate by email.   Please contact sczuhajewski@traumanurses.org for additional information and/or to obtain CNE certificate.
